First UKFG Tea Party for Scholars in Galle
Devsiri and his family visited Srilanka in August 2005 to meet all the children the newly formed UKFG had started to sponsor. Gill Budd who sponsored five children went to Srilanka at the same time to have a holiday and meet her children.
On 25th August 2005 ,all the children, parents and guardians were invited to Devsiri’s house in Galle for a grand tea party. Children sang beautiful songs and performed cultural dances at the gathering. Mr Gamage, Gill Budd, Devsiri and parents made speeches. After the tea party all the children received many gifts from Devsiri and family. Here are some of the pictures of the happy occasion.
