On 2nd May 2025 , Mr. Devsiri, Miss. Imasha, and Mr. Piyadasa visited the “Oba Mama Children’s Home” in Kekunadura. Most of the children living in this home are sons, daughters, or grandchildren of individuals who were killed by the LTTE during the war. The lady in this picture, who is a matron at the children’s home, told us that the support and meals provided to the home are very limited.
Instead of having a party on your birthday, if you could provide a delicious, filling meal to the 14 children at this orphanage, it would be a truly meritorious act. You can obtain more details and the location of the home from our admin officer Imasha Sathsarani (0722630573)
Mr. Devsiri made a monetary donation to Mrs Chandrani to support the ongoing needs of the children. Hearing the news of Mr. Devsiri’s visit and the plight of children, his school friend at Ananda College, Mr Dammika Nawarathna who resides in USA, donated 30000 rupees for a week’s meal for the children’s home. The managers at the home, Mrs Chandrani and Mrs Thilini, were so overwhelmed by this unexpected donation and expressed their utmost gratitude to Mr Dammika

ගාළු මිතුරු පදනම තෑගි අරං කැකුණදුරේ “ඔබ හා මම” ළමා නිවාසයට යයි
2025 මැයි 2 වන දින, දේව්සිරි මහතා, ඉමාෂා මෙනවිය සහ පියදාස මහතා කැකුණදුරේ පිහිටි *ඔබ මාමා ළමා නිවාසයට* ගියහ. මෙම නිවසේ ජීවත් වන බොහෝ දරුවන් යුද්ධයේදී එල්ටීටීඊය විසින් මරා දැමූ පුද්ගලයින්ගේ පුතුන්, දියණියන් හෝ මුණුබුරන් වේ. ළමා නිවාසයේ පාලිකාවක් වන මෙම පින්තූරයේ සිටින කාන්තාව අපට පැවසුවේ නිවසට ලබා දෙන සහයෝගය සහ ආහාර ඉතා සීමිත බවයි.
දරුවන්ගේ අඛණ්ඩ අවශ්‍යතා සපුරාලීම සඳහා දෙව්සිරි මහතා චන්ද්‍රානි මහත්මියට මූල්‍යමය පරිත්‍යාගයක් කළේය. දේව්සිරි මහතාගේ පැමිණීම සහ දරුවන්ගේ දුක්ඛිත තත්ත්වය පිළිබඳ පුවත ඇසූ ඔහුගේ ආනන්ද විද්‍යාලයේ පාසල් මිතුරෙකු වන ඇමරිකා එක්සත් ජනපදයේ පදිංචි ධම්මික නවරත්න මහතා ළමා නිවාසයට සතියක ආහාර වේලක් සඳහා රුපියල් 30000 ක් පරිත්‍යාග කළේය. නිවසේ කළමනාකාරිනීන් වන චන්ද්‍රානි මහත්මිය සහ තිලිණි මහත්මිය මෙම අනපේක්ෂිත පරිත්‍යාගයෙන් අතිශයින් සතුටට පත් වූ අතර ධම්මික මහතාට ඔවුන්ගේ බලවත් කෘතඥතාව පළ කළහ.
ඔබේ උපන්දිනයට සාදයක් පැවැත්වීම වෙනුවට, මෙම අනාථ නිවාසයේ සිටින දරුවන් 14 දෙනාට රසවත්, තෘප්තිමත් ආහාර වේලක් ලබා දිය හැකි නම්, එය සැබවින්ම පින්බර ක්‍රියාවක් වනු ඇත. ඔබට වැඩි විස්තර සහ ළමා නිවසේ ලිපිනය අප පදනමේ ශිෂ්‍යත්ව පරිපාලන නිලධාරිනී නිලධාරිනී ඉමාෂා සත්සරණි මෙනෙවියගෙන් (0722630573) ලබා ගත හැකිය.
