On January 6th, the lovely children of Mapalana School, Kamburupitiya, together with the Honorable Principal Mr. Saman Meegahawatta and the teaching staff, celebrated the recent birthday of Mr. Devsiri Hewavidana with cakes , ice cream and great joy and enthusiasm.
During the event, Mr Devsiri donated a large collection of books worth Rs. 25,000 to the school library.

ජනවාරි 6 වන දා මාපලාන විදුහලේ සුන්දර දරු දැරියෝ, ගරු විදුහල්පති සමන්ත මීගහවත්ත මහතා හා ආචාර්ය මණ්ඩලය සමගින් දෙව්සිරි හේවාවිදාන මහතාගේ පසුගිය උපන් දිනය කේක් හා අයිස් ක්රීම් රස විඳිමින් ඉමහත් හරසරින් සැමරුවේ මෙසේ ය . උත්සවය අතරමැද දී එතූමා පාසැල් පුස්තකාලයට රු 25,000 ක් වටිනා පොත් රැසක් පරිත්යාග කළේය
