On April 30, 2025, Mr. Saman Meegahawatta, the Principal, Ms. Imasha Sathsarani, and Mr. Devsiri Hewavidana were delighted to take part in a visit to Lunugamwehera Kudagamman 1 Primary School. The teaching staff and children warmly welcomed the special guests. The delicious ice cream collection donated by Mr. Devsiri was eagerly enjoyed by the children. Furthermore, Mr. Devsiri took time to visit the classrooms and inquire about the students’ education. Later, after conversing with the teaching staff and taking a group photo with everyone, they happily departed from the school.
Afterward, Mr. Devsiri and his group visited Lunugamwehera Kudagamman 2 School. Although a new principal had recently been appointed to the school, he recalled the previous assistance provided by the Galle Mituru Foundation and expressed gratitude on behalf of the school. The teaching staff of the school warmly welcomed everyone. The delightful ice cream collection offered by Mr. Devsiri was happily enjoyed by both the children and their parents. Photos below show how much they enjoyed the ice cream. Mr. Devsiri Hewavidana, pleased with the school’s progress, also made a monetary donation to purchase necessary items for the school. Finally, a group photo was taken with everyone, and they left the school happily.

අප්‍රේල් 30 දා දහවල් මාපලන විදුහල්පති සමන් මීගහවත්ත මහතා, ඉමාෂා සත්සරණි මෙනෙවිය හා දෙව්සිරි හේවාවිදාන මහතා ලුණුගම් වෙහෙර කුඩා ගම්මාන 1 පැමිණියහ. ගරු විදුහල්පතිනිය , ආචාර්ය මණ්ඩලය හා දරුවෝ විශේෂ අමුත්තන් ඉතා හරසරින් පිළිගත් හ. ඔවුන් ඉනනතුරුව ප්‍රාථමික පාසලේ සංචාරයේ යෙදෙමින් ප්‍රීතියට පත්වූහ. දෙව්සිරි මහතා ලබා දුන් ප්‍රණීත අයිස්ක්‍රීම් සංග්‍රහය දරුවෝ ඉතා ආසාවෙන් භුක්ති වින්දෝ ය. එමෙන්ම දෙව්සිරි මහතා දරුවන්ගේ පන්ති කාමර වලට ගොස් ඔවුන්ගේ අධ්‍යාපන කටයුතු ගැන සොයා බැලීමට අමතක නොකළේ ය. දෙව්සිරි මහතා මාර්තු මාසයේ තම පාසැල් ට පැමිණි අවස්තාවේ පරිත්‍යාග කළ මුදලින් පාසලට ඇතුලත් වන තැන තැන පාරට සිමෙන්ති දැමූ බව කොලනි 1 පාසලේ ගරු විදුහල්පතිනිය ප්‍රකාශ කළේ කෘතඥාපූර්වකය. පසුව ඒ අමුත්තන් පිරිස ගුරු මණ්ඩලය හා ළමුන් සියලු දෙනා සමඟ ඡායාරූපවලට පෙනී සිටියෝය
ඉන් අනතුරුව දෙව්සිරි මහතා ඇතුලු අමුත්තන් පිරිස පැමිණියේ ලුණුගම්වෙහෙර කුඩා ගම්මාන 2 පාසලටයි. පාසලේ ආචාර්ය මණ්ඩලය සියලු දෙනාව ආදරයෙන් පිළිගත්හ මෙවර පාසලට යන විට පාසලට නව විදුහල්පතිවරයෙකු පත්ව සිටියත් එතුමා ගාලු මිතුරු පදනමේ අපි මීට පෙර එම පාසලට පැමිණ උපකාර කළ සියලු කරුණු මතක් කොට පාසල වෙනුවෙන් ස්තූති කිරීමට අමතක නොකළේ ය. ඉන් පසුව දෙව්සිරි මහතා ලබා දුන් ප්‍රණීත අයිස්ක්‍රීම් සංග්‍රහය දරුවන් හා දරුවන්ගේ දෙමව්පියන් ආසාවෙන් භුක්ති වින්දෝ ය.
පාසලේ දියුණුව දැක සතුටට පත් වූ දෙව්සිරි හේවාවිදාන මහතා පාසලට අවශ්‍ය දේවල් මිලදී ගැනීමට මුදල් පරිත්‍යගයක් ද සිදු කළේ ය. අනතුරුව අමුත්තො ගුරු මණ්ඩලය හා ළමුන් සියලු දෙනා සියලු දෙනා සමඟ ඡායාරූපය ගෙන සතුටින් පාසලෙන් නික්ම ආවේ මාස කිහිපයකට පසු නැවත දරුවන්ට තෑගි රැගෙන පැමිණෙන බවට පොරොන්දු වෙමිනි
